The administrator also has the ability to create and edit additional login credentials to the GUI and can limit access of a user to specific modules through profile assignments.
Q. Do Celadon Reef Appliances come pre-loaded with CRoS?
topA. All Celadon Reef Appliances are minimally loaded with the proprietary base module of the CRoS which is licensed per device. Celadon Reef offers many additional licensing modules that can be added to the base CRoS, tailoring a solution to the client’s specific needs. Contact us for further details.
Q: Configuration and Updates

Making configuration and update changes to large populations of devices is easy using the EMS module within the Celadon Reef Operating System. Some customers retain Celadon Reef to coordinate these releases on an outsourced basis if needed. See our Support Page for details.
Q: What are the minimum hardware requirements to implement CRoS?

Q: How does Celadon Reef monitor the status of the deployed appliances?
topA: Monitoring devices distributed across a wide geography and close to the edge is difficult. Celadon Reef devices are monitored using Visual Analytic technology. Pictorial images are used to display current conditions of devices that may be far flung around the globe. These images, or icons, are designed to be understood visually, eliminating the need for local language, so people from many cultures can understand them. They are composed of images that are intuitive and can be understood by non-technical personnel. For a detailed description of this icon technology please visit OcuCue.com
Q: Is Celadon Reef available in my area?
topA: Today, the Celadon Reef Operating System operates in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. As a US based company, Celadon Reef observes US export restrictions. Some security features (separately licensed) have additional restrictions.
The open source componentry positions CRoS as a universal product. Currently, the GUI and Administrative Guide are available in English only. Help desk Tier 1 and 2 support is available in English and Spanish.
The monitoring approach for the Celadon Reef appliance is based on universally understood Visual Analytics using icons (pictures) that can be updated for current conditions as often as every few minutes.
