A: The Celadon Reef Operating System comes with a proprietary Graphical User Interface (GUI). Through this GUI one is able to configure the device using a web-based portal. Access to the portal is defined by the user through firewall rules and other configuration settings. By default the first port of the appliance is configured to be a client-services-LAN-port and will allow for GUI access. The administrator also has the ability to create and edit additional login credentials to the GUI and can limit access of a user to specific modules through profile assignments.
A. All Celadon Reef Appliances are minimally loaded with the proprietary base module of the CRoS which is licensed per device. Celadon Reef offers many additional licensing modules that can be added to the base CRoS, tailoring a solution to the client’s specific needs. Contact us for further details.
A: Celadon Reef makes Installation and Configuration Support convenient and easy to access. You will always be able to leverage our technical expertise to save time and assure a seamless integration.
We can easily coordinate time appropriate installations to be scheduled across geographies ensuring minimum network downtime. More complex installations can be scheduled to take advantage of technical personnel who would visit the premises to conduct the installation. (Currently these on-site services are available in 400 business centers in North America.)
Making configuration and update changes to large populations of devices is easy using the EMS module within the Celadon Reef Operating System. Some customers retain Celadon Reef to coordinate these releases on an outsourced basis if needed. See our Support Page for details.
A: Our appliances are pre-configured and fully optimized for CRoS integration. Depending on the nature of the solution, the configuration of the CRoS, and its additional features and modules, technical specifications of the appliance will vary. Contact one of our consultants to discuss details.

- Installation and Configuration Support—remote and premises
- Upgrade and Configuration Push Management
A: Celadon Reef offers customers annual technical support under three programs:
Help Desk Services are delivered across three levels against two time frames. Services are U.S. based and available during extended business hours or on a 24x7 basis. Certified professionals are available to address technical issues in English and Spanish.
A: Monitoring devices distributed across a wide geography and close to the edge is difficult. Celadon Reef devices are monitored using Visual Analytic technology. Pictorial images are used to display current conditions of devices that may be far flung around the globe. These images, or icons, are designed to be understood visually, eliminating the need for local language, so people from many cultures can understand them. They are composed of images that are intuitive and can be understood by non-technical personnel. For a detailed description of this icon technology please visit OcuCue.com
A: Today, the Celadon Reef Operating System operates in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. As a US based company, Celadon Reef observes US export restrictions. Some security features (separately licensed) have additional restrictions.
The open source componentry positions CRoS as a universal product. Currently, the GUI and Administrative Guide are available in English only. Help desk Tier 1 and 2 support is available in English and Spanish.
The monitoring approach for the Celadon Reef appliance is based on universally understood Visual Analytics using icons (pictures) that can be updated for current conditions as often as every few minutes.
